Dream matte mousse

I don't usually like to say bad things about a product as each person has different opinions and skin types, but i made this blog to be honest and to give out my opinion on products i use.
This dream matte mousse i really did not like at all, it left my skin shiny and looked greasy all day, i broke out so much after using this too.
i 100% will not buy this product again or advise anyone to use this, i don't have oily skin, i have normal, i love my skin to have a matte finish and i prefer full coverage where as i found this to be a light to medium.

Lip Twins Lipstick Duo 5 Coral Harmony

For Christmas i got this YSL lip twins lipstick in number 5 coral harmony, i am not sure of the price but when i googled it i found they averaged at around £13.00. i thought this is a great little compact to take for an evening out, fits in the palm of your hand so its small enough for a clutch bag, i like the idea of the brush but it is not a very good brush, when using it a lot the brush becomes broken very easily. the 2 lip colours have excellent pigmentation, the golden glitter color goes on quite sheer and leaves a lovely warm glow with hints of golden sparkles and the pinky colour is gorgeous, it goes on the lips exactly how it is in picture above. and the little mirror is great, perfect size for touching up your lippy or even checking if your lashes are still in perfect position, other than that its a bit too small to be applying foundation or blusher.
i would recommend this product. (and i am on the hunt for the pinky colour from this duo so if you know the name of it please let me know i would love to find a full sized lipstick :) )
Any questions please do not hesitate to ask me and i will try my hardest to answer them all :)

divine palette

this is going to be the same review as the storm palette!
Excellent palette, Great price, Great quality, Big mirror int he top of the palette, 12 colors from naturals for day to smoky effect for evening :)
i definitely recommend this product!! :)
any questions please do not hesitate to ask me and i will answer them the best i can :)

Storm Pallette

Sleek storm palette has very high pigmented colours in, what you see in the palette goes onto your lid :)
great for if your just starting to experiment with make up and different eyeshadow colours, i would recommend this product. i bought mine from my local superdrug and it was around £6 which is great for 12 eyeshadows.
any questions please do not hesitate to ask me i would be happy to answer them,

Freedom System

all over face powder number 25

shimmer bronzer number 53

hit pan (need a darker powder now and a matte bronzer)

information on the back of my pallette
well well well i am in love!!! but typical for me the only way i can buy inglot in when i go to Poland which is twice a year!! i live too far away from London it is actually easier for me to go to Poland and cheaper! :)
the powders are silky soft last all day without going blotchy, the number 53 bronzer has a little too much shimmer, i prefer to use this as a body bronzer for a night out. and i have a slight tan now so the full face powder is too light for me now, so i guess i will just have to wait till June when i go back to Poland for more Inglot, so expect a lot of Inglot reviews around June/July :)
any questions please ask me and i will try to answer as best i can :)

lashfix

I recently bought this lash glue from boots as i always run out of glue and i normally buy more lashes to get extra glue, this glue is my HG i have tried a few other glues and none of them were even close to compare them with this, i have not yet tried duo glue and have heard a lot of good things about that but at the moment this is my definite favorite and i would advise anybody who loves to wear strip lashes to run out to your local boots store and see if they have it available there and if not i have heard ASOS are selling it also. when i wear my lashes i could have them on for up to 15 hours and they wont budge, i always apply a steady amount over the full strip but make sure that there is more glue on either side of the strip as this is the place they come loose easiest.
any questions please ask and i will answer them :)

Bubblegum Scented Nail Enamel

bubble gum

bubblegum scented nail enamel in natural lighting (2 coats)
this is the same story as the saffron lipstick, i was about to do a photo shoot and needed a 'barbie pink' nail varnish and couldn't find the right 1 till i found a small make up stall on the main entrance of Eldon Square in Newcastle, i found this nail varnish and it cos me 99p the price was over the scented sticker so i didn't notice it was scented till the models nails were dry, true to its name it smells like bubblegum, the scent lasts for around 2-3 days depending on how much you get your hands wet. but it is a great idea, i had never head about them until i bought this item, and i will be sure to look into buying a few more for this summer :)
Any questions please do not hesitate to ask me and i will answer them,

Saffron lipstick shade 28

A few weeks ago i was hunting for a Cheap but affective lipstick for a photo shoot i was doing, i wanted a 'barbie pink' and i was looking all around Newcastle but refused to go and pay for a Mac lipstick, As i was giving up all hope when i came across a little make up stall and found this saffron lipstick in the perfect colour and the best of it is it was only 99p!! the colour pay off is excellent completely true to the lipstick its self. then as i took the lid off i smelt a gorgeous smell and it was from the lipstick!! this lipstick has a smell cross between bubblegum and raspberry, completely gorgeous, normally when you buy a cheap lipstick you get a horrible taste or smell with it and it 9 times out of 10 is really poor quality so i was extra surprised when this lipstick ticked all the boxes for me.
any questions please do not hesitate to ask me and i will try to answer them all.

E-25 Travel Size Blending Brush

sigma E25 blending brush (travel size)
When i ordered my Angled Brush from sigma they sent me a free E25 Blending brush in a travel size, and this is defiantly 1 of my HG items!! i have nothing bad to say about it at all! i clean it and use it regular and it still has not changed shape has not lost bristles, is still super soft! i will 100% be buying a lot more of there eye brushes as i have not heard anything bad about them and after trying this brush my self i agree with a lot of beauty guru's out there! sigma is high quality products for good reasonable prices.
full size sigma E25 blending brush
for the full size sigma E25 brush (as shown above) it retails at $9 so in pounds that is around £5.50. i would say it is well worth it as it is meant to be a dupe for the MAC 217 which retails at around £15.00, i know what i would rather spend my money on, and i'm sure a lot of make up guru's will agree.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me, i will try to answer all your questions.

Barry M Blusher Brush

I bought this brush around 4 months ago and at first i was in love with this brush, i didn't have 1 single word bad to say about this brush then i had it for 1 month and it got worse and worse every week. now this brush is just sitting there never used.
When i first got it it was perfect quality, i never had any bristles fall out and it was very soft (it was one of those brushes you could sit and rub on your face all day because it was that soft). But now when ever washed lots of the bristles fall out and i know that you should always expect some bristles to fall out but this just has waaaay too much fall out it seems un-normal to me. now when you use it it feels very rough on the skin and has lots of little black bristles that fall out all over the face, i have been using the same brush cleaner i use on all my brushes and none of them turn out like this so i am very disappointed with this brush and would not advise anyone to spend your money on this. if anyone out there has had a good experience with this brush please comment as i would like to know if i am the only one or if more people have found this happens to them too,
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask me and i will try my hardest to answer.

E.L.F Angled Foundation Brush

tapered bristles

E.L.F Studio Angled Foundation Brush
I bought this brush last year and this is one of my favorite brushes for a day to day use, Defiantly my HG foundation brush. this brush is perfect with a capital P. it is great to get into those hard to reach places around the eyes and nose area. the brush is very easy to clean, i have had it for around 6 months now and it has been used nearly everyday since i bought it and it is still in perfect condition! it has hardly ever lost any bristles and doesn't make any streaky lines on my face while applying my foundation. on the website it says about the brush that is it a new anti bacterial haired taklon brush that is softer and more absorbent and it can be used for wet or dry products. I personally have never used this on any dry products only on my liquid foundation. but i would say it is well worth the £3.50!
if you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask me and i will try to answer them.

F50 Duo Fibre

travel nice in pink duo fibre F50
F50 Tip
A few month back i bought this brush from sigma online.it is generally used with a liquid foundation to generate an airbrushed finish, you can also use them for applying blush, powders or pigments. The F50 is a duo fibre brush, Meaning the white part at the tip is synthetic bristles and the black part is natural bristles.
The F50 is a great brush, but i prefer my brush to have a more dense bristles so i do not have to work as hard to blend my foundation in.
I also found when cleaning my brush it lost a lot of bristles and now it has actually fallen apart as so many had fallen out, the rest had became loose, so this is not a brush i would repurchase, But this has defiantly NOT put me off ordering from Sigma again! far from it, i have just placed my next order with sigma this morning so i will have more reviews coming up very soon for these products :)
if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me and i will try my hardest to answer them.

mat lumiere

30 cendre intensity 1.5
About 2 weeks ago i bought this foundation, i wanted to try something that was high end to compare it with my regular Rimmel London foundations i usually buy, i was also looking for a matte finish as i really don't like my face to look shiny, i always think that my face looks greasy if it has a shine (silly i know but it was just what i thought.) The Chanel Mat Lumiere was around £30 from the Chanel stand in Fenwicks. the lady who served me was very kind and helpful she tested 3 colours on my face to get the perfect match for my skin which i had never had done before.
i apply it either with my fingers or with my e.l.f foundation brush, i get a flawless finish every time i use this product. i have worn it an average of 11 hours per day without it going blotchy or rubbing off. this is definitely a HG product at the moment. i love how it gives me a shine free face with out looking like my make up is piled on. my only down side of this is the pump gets clogged so you have to poke a pin in and unclog it every now and then.
if you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask me and i will try to answer them.

soft and soothed gentle toner

normal/dry
i bought this about 2 months ago along with the cleanser. i am still on my first bottle, and it is not even half way empty yet. It is true what they say.. a little does go a long way. this is another of my HG products. along with the cleanser this also has a plastic bottle with the safety lock pump.
Normally i would pump it twice onto a cotton pad for an all over face application. i use this morning and evening. as you can see in the picture the toner is pink and i would describe the smell as there is a very slight chemical scent initially and once that has gone there is a very faint floral scent underneath. But if you weren't writing a review and sniffing it (like i am hehe) you wouldn't notice it.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask me and i will try to answer them.

Samii

soft and soothed gentle cleanser

normal/dry
i bought this a while ago and now on my 3rd bottle of this cleanser, it is 1 of my HG products. i use this every morning and evening, it is perfect for removing my make up. it comes in a plastic bottle and the lid is also plastic with a pearlesque shimmer. The pump has a safety lock on it also, so if you are clumsy like me it is perfect for you.
normally i would pump 4-5 times onto a cotton pad them rub it all over my face to remove all traces of make up. my skin feels soft after using this and not in any way greasy
the cream its self is white with pink tones, i don't know how to explain the smell other than pure and fresh.
if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.

Dear John

I bought this cream a little over 2 months ago now, it is 100% 1 of my HG products, i have dry skin and needed to try something that would give me allot of moisture.
I love the packaging, the box reminds me of summer with the bright colours, and the cream comes in a glass jar. the cream is a day or night cream, smells divine, this cream has minimized my fine lines around my eyes and pumped up me skin for a more youthful look. it is a thick consistency and gives the most amazing feeling to my face once i have put it on, it almost feels like a cool breeze on a hot summers day. it leaves my skin feeling soft and not at all greasy.
It is a pure white opaque mix that sinks into my skin almost immediately leaving it silky soft and ready to apply my that gal primer.
The moisturiser acts as a base as well as its obvious attributes. by using my Dear John first it prevents That Gal from sinking into my skin which allows it to do the work of an excellent primer all day.

Sigma Small Angle - E65

E65 small angle brush
a while ago i bought this brush online to go with my elf eyebrow kit i had just bought.
i am in love with this item, this is 1 of my HG items and it is in my daily kit. it is always a brush i use everyday. it has firm bristles, synthetic bristles, this is excellent for filling eyebrows but also excellent for applying cream or gel liner to upper and lower lash line. i bought the E65 for $9 which is around £5.50. 100% worth the money. it comes in lovely packaging, very fast delivery to UK from USA.
my only negative about this product is on the brush it has that it is a eyeliner E05 which is actually this brush shown below
sigma E05

the sigma E05 is an extra fine tipped synthetic brush. so as you can see i am 100% happy with my brush and will be ordering more from here very soon :)
any questions please do not hesitate to ask me and i will try my best to answer.

Glam'Eyes Quad Eyeshadow

021 state of grace

Rimmel has sent out another new product coming out this month for their VIPs and it's the new Glam Eyes Quad eyeshadow and the one I received was 021 State of Grace consisting of shimmery cool tone colours.

On the back of the quad is instructions on how to create two different looks: the subtle look and the London look and these most complements brown eyes. There are several other shades available too for different eye colours. Of course this does not mean it's limited to brown eye wearers only but just suits them more as I believe anyone of any skin, eye or hair colour can wear any look. There's no one size fits all nor are certain colours limited to certain people! On the back it also says that these looks can be teamed up with a soft pink blush and nude pink gloss since it's all about the eyes.

It's quite nice how they added instructions on the back to demonstrate how to use this product but for me the method won't really work for my eyes. I tried out the Subtle and London look and it just doesn't suit me! i have blue eyes and do not think that this set looks good on me, every time i try a different way of putting it on i feel like i look like coco the clown haha.
i found that they were not very pigmented, maybe with a good primer before they would look allot more sharp.
if you have any further questions please d not hesitate to ask me and i will try my best to answer.

Max Bold Curves Mascara

001 Black

First of all I love the bright green packaging and is perfect for Spring Anyway the Max Bold Curves Mascara is similar to the Max Volume Flash mascara except this one promises volume AND curves.
The brush size is large similar to the Max Volume Flash mascara except it is curved that helps lift the lashes as you apply the mascara. The formula is fantastic as it applies easily with not clumping at all while separating the lashes.
I think this mascara is fantastic at giving volume and I really like the curved brush, but as its not a waterproof mascara it won't work on my stubborn straight lashes which is a shame. So I can only hope Rimmel will bring out a waterproof version soon.

any further questions pleas do not hesitate to ask me and i will try to answer them.
